How to prepare the Aubergine Tartar with my aunt Cahterine

¡Hi! I am Aitana again. As you may know, I am the creator of the videos of “la cocina de la yaya” (“Grandma’s Cook”).

In today’s video, my aunt Catherine who is living in Geneva came this summer to Godall and she is the special guest of my video section. She will show to my “yaya Pili” and myself how to cook and prepare a very tasty and healthy recipe: the Aubergine tartar.

As you will see in the video, the recipe is very easy, you don0t need to many ingredients. The principal ones are aubergines and, of course, the famous Ralda+Friends  Extra Virgin Olive Oil Morruda DOP.

We have eaten the dish during summer, but you can make it in any moment of the year if you can find aubergines.

How to prepare the tartar?

Ingredients are

  • 2 aubergines (previously roasted at fire).
  • Garlic: 1 clove (smashed)
  • Salt, pepper, cumin y and “pimentón de la Vera” (a kind of Spanish spicy paprika).
  • Coriander
  • Ralda+Friends Extra Virgin Morruda DOP Olive Oil

Although the video is in Spanish you will clearly understand everything of this recipe.
