Besides the problems with olive-trees plundering we have previously reported with Salvem lo Montsia Association, a new and great concern has appeared in our industry. It is the sum of four conjunctural factors that have come into play and put the job of thousands of Spanish producers at risk. This crisis can end up aggravating the plundering and the loss of economic, natural and cultural heritage. These are the increasing competition, the fall in the consumption of oil, the moderation of the prices in the market and the fall of the income of the producers. Last July, some 20,000 Andalusian...

We are happy to announce that we will launch officially next September our new website https://raldafriends.ch/, that is specifically aimed at our friends and adopters from Switzerland. As we always say, ours is a family project whose roots, heart and hands are located in Godall (Tarragona, Spain). However, the idea was originated in Geneva, where we have the 50% of the team that we, the Ralda brothers, make. We also have many great friends and adopters in Switzerland who like to enjoy the sun, health and the wise gastronomy of our Tierras del Ebro. However, as Switzerland is not part...

Until now, this wealth can be...

We are very happy to announce that the millenary olive trees from the Sénia Territory (to which Godall belongs) have been declared by UNFAO as Important System of World Agricultural Heritage (SIPAM). On December 7, our local newspaper, Mes Ebre (see: https://bit.ly/2FHTryy) reported that this acknowledgment was approved by the GIAHS program of the FAO and its Scientific Advisory Group. The Scientific Advisory Group also congratulated all the people involved in the candidacy and stated that the bidding letter from Ms. Tere Adell (manager of the Senia Territory) was the best presentation letter received. Ralda & Friends, as well as...

In Catalan language theres a saying that goes: Per Nadal, qui res no estrena, res no val. That means: In Xmas time, you must wear/use something brand new, or you will show no respect for traditions. This is precisely what we want to do with the look and feel of our webpage, which we have updated in the last days of 2018. From now on, those who browse www.raldafriends.com will find a more modern image and an interface that makes easier both the buying and the adoption processes to all of our visitors, friends and adopters. Our updated web keeps...
